Museum Shop
No visit to our museum would be complete without a stop in the Museum Shop. We have a wide variety of items related to Civil War and local history.
The shop has items for all ages. Children can find toys, games and books from the Civil War era.
A bestseller is The Beat of the Drum by Don MacDowell, a history of the military post and the museum. Beyond the Battles by Dave Bean, a long time docent at the Museum, is a spell-binding story of the drama and heartbreak surrounding John Rains during the Civil War.
One of our special areas is the used books section. If duplicate books are received as donations, the extras are priced very reasonably and offered for sale in the Museum Shop. This is a great opportunity to add to your collection.
